1. Be at CAUSE and not at EFFECT:
Being at Cause means you take 100% responsibility for the problem you have. Being at Effect means you are blaming your colleagues, friend or someone who you think is the reason for the problem. Are you one of those people who say “I can’t do it because my Boss is so mean”, “I don’t arrive in time for work because the traffic is always bad”? Stop complaining today! If you want to solve any problem, the 1st step is to be at Cause and take 100% responsibility.
2. Ask yourself these Powerful Questions:
– What can I do to solve this problem? If your answer is a big ‘NOTHING!’ then ask..- If there was something I could do to solve this problem, what would that be? Write down everything that comes to your mind and start taking action.
– What did I learn from this situation? In any problem you have, there is always something you can learn to avoid making the same mistake again. So, look for the positive learning.
3. SUCCESS or FEEDBACK:
As you start taking action on those steps, some of the steps may work out and some may not. Don’t take this personally. If something doesn’t work out, it doesn’t mean that you have failed. THERE IS NO FAILURE, ONLY FEEDBACK! When you get Feedback, ask yourself “What can I do differently next time?” and then start taking action on those new steps that you have written down.
